The course is designed to cover the details of regulation of gene expression in prokaryotes. The participants will be able to learn the operon concept, different operons in bacteria (The trp Operon, The lac Operon etc.)  and regulations in bacteriophage. They will be able to teach and also to design the experiments based on gene expression. The question Answers session for each topic will help participants to solve the questions of CSIR-NET, ICMR-JRF, CUCET,  GATE, GAT-B etc.
